1 Language Planning

We work with language planning committees across Ireland to prepare and write language plans which meet the criteria set out by the Gaeltacht Act 2012.

Our approach to language planning is bespoke to each community engaging in the process, and includes language profiling of an area, qualitative and quantitative research, stakeholder engagement and drafting of the language plans on behalf of the language planning committee.

2 Strategic Planning

A strategic plan can help an organisation to clarify its aims and how it plans to achieve them. Whether you're a local committee, just starting out, or a large, long-established organisation, Cinnteacht can provide support and assistance throughout a strategic planning journey.

3 Research

Research is required for a broad range of reasons. Common reasons for organisations to carry out research include strategic or language planning processes, gathering evidence to influence policy makers or for funding applications, engaging with stakeholders or assessing the success of a project or plan.

Utilising both both quantitative and qualitative methods of research, Cinnteacht will design and implement a comprehensive research plan that fits your organisation's needs and budget. These methods include:

4 Workshop Facilitation

External facilitation of workshops can be useful in many different ways. Whether an organisation is involved in planning, considering a new project, assessing it's aims or gathering views of the community or other stakeholders, an external facilitator can help with the process. Cinnteacht will work with you to design and facilitate a workshop that will meet your organisation's needs.

5 Funding Support

Financing the work of your organisation is one of the biggest challenges that any organisation can face. Cinnteacht can work with organisations to identify potential streams of income, and to identify and apply for suitable sources of funding.
